Je typt zo blanco over dat je niet eens nadenkt bij je reacties.

@46 hoe je het went of keert het is een buitenlander die zich bemoeit met de politiek van een ander.
Ik zie het verschil niet.

In datzelfde interview geeft hij luttele minuten later aan dat hij niks ermee te maken had.

But there was no sense that I shouldn’t be there, because that was — well, actually, in a funny way, it’s just like in the markets — that if I weren’t there — of course, I wasn’t doing it, but somebody else would — would — would be taking it away anyhow. And it was the — whether I was there or not, I was only a spectator, the property was being taken away. So the — I had no role in taking away that property. So I had no sense of guilt.“

Soros’s biographer, Michael T. Kaufman, describes Soros as “visibly dumbfounded” by Kroft’s “prosecutorial” line of questioning. In his book, Soros: The Life and Times of a Messianic Billionaire (Knopf, 2002), Kaufman addresses the claim that Soros was involved in confiscating Jewish property. While it’s true that one of the jobs delegated to young George’s temporary protector, a Hungarian bureaucrat named Baumbach, was taking inventory of Jewish properties already confiscated by the Nazis, Kaufman writes, the extent of Soros’s participation was accompanying Baumbach on one of these assignments:

Shortly after George went to live with Baumbach, the man was assigned to take inventory on the vast estate of Mor Kornfeld, an extremely wealthy aristocrat of Jewish origin. The Kornfeld family had the wealth, wisdom, and connections to be able to leave some of its belongings behind in exchange for permission to make their way to Lisbon. Baumbach was ordered to go to the Kornfeld estate and inventory the artworks, furnishings, and other property. Rather than leave his “godson” behind in Budapest for three days, he took the boy with him. As Baumbach itemized the material, George walked around the grounds and spent time with Kornfeld’s staff. It was his first visit to such a mansion, and the first time he rode a horse. He collaborated with no one and he paid attention to what he understood to be his primary responsibility: making sure that no one doubted that he was Sandor Kiss [Soros’s assumed identity]. Among his practical concerns was to make sure that no one saw him pee."

Waarom citeer je wel één uitspraak van hem, maar de andere waarin hij het tegenovergestelde zegt niet?

Om het stukje hierboven even samen te vatten: hij was, onder een valse identiteit die hij noodgedwongen aan moest nemen, aanwezig bij het inventariseren van de eigendommen van de joodse Mor Kornfeld.

Dat kan gezien worden als 'helpen' (zoals hij aanvankelijk zegt) maar hij geeft duidelijk aan dat hij er verder geen rol in speelde omdat het niet zijn beslissing was, hij had simpelweg geen keuze dan mee te gaan.

Dat hij zegt geen spijt te hebben, komt daar uit voort: het was zijn schuld niet en hij voelt zich dus ook niet schuldig. En dus is er geen reden om spijt te betuigen voor iets wat je niet anders had kunnen doen.

Als je dan iemand citeert, citeer hem dan volledig en niet alleen het stukje wat je goed uit komt.

Sorros
1. is het openbaar, alle zaken worden gerapporteerd.
2. Het is geen land de man is individu, die gewoon zijn idealen mag nastreven.

Poetin / Rusland:
1. Een land mag zich niet bemoeien met verkiezingen in andere landen.
2. Alles gaat in het geniep, er zijn verslagleggingen, sterker nog Poetin ontkent dat Rusland dat doet.

En ontkent alleen maar omdat hij weet dat internationaal echt not done is!

@57 Hij mag zijn mening geven over de NATO en de EU, maar hij geen verkiezingen manipuleren, en Oekraine heeft echt zelfbeschikkingsrecht die mogen zelf bepalen met wie ze verdragen af sluiten en wie niet. Daar gaat Poetin niet over, net zo goed als dat Oekraine niet over verdragen gaat die Rusland sluit met andere landen.
