While our country sleepwalks through the deadly aftermath of the evil Covid-19 operation, the World Health Organization (WHO) puts the final touches on a nice bit of fuckery called its Pandemic Treaty on International Health Regulations (IHR) or “One Health” initiative, a Globalist power grab disguised in the saintly white robes of public health medicine. The agreement, to be finalized at the end of this month, will cede what’s left of your liberty to this unelected bureaucracy for the sake of global “equity and inclusivity,” meaning more lockdowns, constant surveillance, forced “vaccinations,” restrictions on medications, and censorship of anyone who voices a contrary opinion of these actions.
Sound familiar? Yeah, it’s Covid-19 all over again, a second crack at controlling everything you do and every choice you might make by a cabal of governments and corporations, in other words, an international gang of fascists. The WHO is an agency of the United Nations, run out of Switzerland. You might recall this is the same place where the World Economic Forum (the WEF, a.k.a. “Davos”) has its headquarters. For years, the WEF has been issuing blueprints for a techno-fascist global regime under which, they state baldly, “you will own nothing and be happy.” (And eat bugs.)
These birds are not kidding around, though anyone can see the megalomania on display, the grandiose will-to-power that seeks to subjugate the plebes of the world — and radically decrease our numbers — so that a remaining tiny elite can enter into a post-modern, techno-transhuman utopia uncluttered with us “useless eaters.” The corporate money and organizational mojo out of Davos is behind what amounts to a homicidal racketeering scheme masquerading as disease prevention.
Of course, the pharmaceutical companies are front-and-center in the mix. They stand to make hundreds of billions of dollars distributing their mandated “vaccines” — which, you know by now, will not be properly tested, and, as currently being demonstrated by the Covid shots, are covertly designed to kill as many people as possible over a long period of time by switching off the natural defenses of your immune system, guaranteeing bewilderment and compliance by the hoodwinked masses. This might sound like a paranoid sci-fi movie, but, alas, the first phase has already happened starting in 2020. And since the pharma companies provide most of the advertising revenue for cable news media, you have been successfully mind-fucked into not seeing what is going on all around you: a whole lot of sickness and death.
Fortunately, it is the nature of megalomania that it always thinks too highly of its power and reaches too far. For one thing, this WHO “treaty” has to be signed by its member nations. Not all of them are eager to do that. One was Slovakia, whose prime minister, Robert Fico, was gunned down a few days after he announced his country would opt out. The coterie of the USA behind the senile and incompetent “Joe Biden,” is avid to sign us onto the treaty, largely because much of global Big Pharma operates out of our country, and rents so many members of Congress, especially most of the Democratic Party.
Under the US Constitution, the president can’t follow through on an international treaty without the Senate’s approval by two-thirds of its members. Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) has been the most active figure in that body investigating the crimes of the Covid-19 op and organizing votes against the treaty, which he declares to be all 49 Republican senators. Thus, there can be no two-thirds majority ratification of the WHO treaty.
But note that the shadow government running “Joe Biden” has been doing all kinds of things in overt defiance of the Constitution and the rulings of the US Supreme Court on what is permissible under the Constitution, for instance, cancelling colossal sums of college loan debt. The “Joe Biden” regime is lawless. Anyone following the malicious prosecutions of candidate Donald Trump and the mass round-up of J-6 protestors can see how that works. So, you are advised to call and write your elected representatives in Congress to make sure that the executive branch (the White House and its agencies) gets the message: no deal on the WHO treaty.
There are other trends underway at this time that may assist us in escaping what amounts to a globalist coup d’état. One is that the economic and political crack-up of Western Civ is tending in the opposite direction of the extreme centralization of power that the WHO represents. Things are breaking down, especially things organized at the gigantic scale. Just look at the chaos overtaking corporatized doctor practices and conglomeratized hospitals in America. The corruption and degeneracy of national governments, with their colossal bureaucracies, has reached the stage that few among the people subject to them can fail to notice. That has sapped their legitimacy and prompted citizens to non-compliance with their increasingly insane diktats.
Under the Constitution, the duties not spelled out under federal authority are left to the states. Public health is one of these. Accordingly, the attorney-generals of twenty-two US states have declared their objection to the WHO treaty in a letter to “Joe Biden” and their intent to ignore its commands. What remains to be seen is whether the Globalists can use a new engineered pathogen out of their many bioweapons labs to stir up another pandemic scare to terrorize the world population into being pushed around. Don’t doubt that they will try it, especially in a year when many nations will be holding elections. And don’t get fooled again when they do.

If the government can suspend your free speech and right to protest against the Israeli tactics of bombing civilians by smearing them as antisemitic, and making them potentially criminal, then it stands to reason they use that rationale take away your right to travel freely (a right Palestinians in the occupied West Bank do not have, by the way) by calling it as a public health hazard, and making travel illegal.
As for Big Pharma “renting out Congress”, very true. But Big Pharma also controls big media. That’s why 60 Minutes (CBS) and Fox News will never investigate COVID, and why not a SINGLE MSM outlet showed up for Senator Ron Johnson’s vaccine injury hearing in November 2021. In 2021! No interest. Big Pharma runs all these TV ads supposedly to “inform and help” health consumers–in reality, they do this to buy off the media. Either Tucker Carlson goes, OR Big Pharma stops buying commercials on Fox.
The “cabal” mentioned today operates on many fronts. The plandemic and COVID and complete corruption and takeover of what used to be public health is only one front.
The financial front, from which the cabal profits from massive public and private debt, which is going to financially destroy the US.
The military-industrial complex.
The unconditional support of Israel.
All policies that do very little for Middle America, but are very lucrative for special interests.
They tried to make travel illegal during COVID lock-downs. I still remember the stay-at-home orders. My employer issued a pass for use to keep in the car, in case we were pulled over coming to work, due to the nature of our business being in the “essential” category. There was talk of state border patrols being set-up to check IDs, keeping people from interstate commerce. Absolutely insane history that should never be forgotten!
Cowbell. I’m from South Australia, and parts of Australia absolutely lost their minds during 2021 and 2022. State borders were enforced, and you needed passes to cross them. In Victoria, which had the most stringent lockdowns in Australia and perhaps the western world, my sister was ushered into her home by members of the army, armed and in camo gear, despite it still being supposedly within the allocated 1 hour of outdoor recreation per day!
In New South Wales, my friend told me you needed paperwork to cross outside of your local govt municipality to the next. His wife needed paperwork to walk half a mile to work each day.

H.R.6090 – Antisemitism Awareness Act of 2023 is intended to curb freedom of speech, and the right to assemble. If it becomes law, it could be used as precedent to curb speech and comments from people like RFK Jr and JHK regarding mRNA injections and other public health issues.
The First Amendment gives everyone the right to free speech. Even people like you (if you are even human, as you appear to glory in the blood of Palestinans).

Wikipedia only gives a fraction of the Operation Gladio story. Daniele Ganser’s book on it is very good. He also gave a presentation in a symposium that you can find on the UK Column site (it includes 9/11 – he’s also written a book for high school students called ‘America: Ruthless Empire’). You can’t only criticise Syria – you can occupy 30% of it for years and steal its oil and wheat, as the US is currently doing, while Syrians go hungry and suffer endless power blackouts, thanks to US sanctions. The US military is also serving as a taxi service to ISIS while pretending to be there to fight it.
I went to Syria in 2007, before the west decided to destroy it. We had people stop us in the street to welcome us to their country (tourism wasn’t yet well established), even though (in addition to Palestinian refugee camps) they had to host Iraqi refugee camps. Knowing the Iraqi camps were there because the US/UK illegally invaded their country made the warm welcome all the more surprising.
I’ve never felt safer in any city at night than in Damascus. Not a thug or a dodgy geezer to be seen. Although I’m aware the citizens are obviously well surveilled.
We didn’t steal any oil from Syria, we paid for every ounce. In fact we paid a premium … I think we got screwed. On any account Syria doesn’t have all that much oil to begin with, as most of the country is wasteland & desert.

Our beloved host has once again offered up a bizarre posting. He refers repeatedly to “the Constitution” as if there was some importance attached thereto. He even references, without attribution, the twin star system of Article I, Section 8 (the “enumerated powers”, “delegated powers”, “expressed powers”, or “explicit powers” clause) which operates in tandem with the Tenth Amendment, which reserves to the States or the People any powers not EXPRESSLY given to the Federal government.
This limitation on Federal authority is no more than an illusion, a cruel joke perpetrated on the sheepish population by a perverse government led by nine black-robed and unelected “jurists”. Just read Wickard v. Filburn if you don’t believe me.
JHK has therefor, and not for the first time, flown us with him on the back of a beautiful but imaginary butterfly into the dreamland of a fairy tale story where the People are ruled by well-intentioned and serious patriots. There is no finding our way out of this nightmare so why pretend that there is?

Well said. Democracy is the lowest form of government, given the base human nature of the average person.
The Founders would have been horrified at the idea of letting everybody vote.
Only land owning white men had the privilege to vote. Why? Because they were the ones who had a financial stake in the government. Any mutt can vote now and when that happens, as it always does in a Democracy, the mutts figure out they can vote them lavish benefits at the hand of the government. When that happens, amen to that democracy.
We are well past that point as the Boomers were the first generation to figure out they could vote themselves benefits that will bankrupt future generations.
IMO this post is a great synopsis of what’s going on; in fact I’m going to send it to a friend who isn’t ready to take the red pill but remains responsive to hearing about these issues. (Last week’s post was downright hilarious – maybe I’ll send that one her way, too.)
At any rate, my sense is that the States that are already making waves will secede over this issue if push comes to shove. The older I get the more I understand and admire the genius of the Founding Fathers and the beauty of 50 independent States…
The Tenth Amendment was castrated by the success of New England’s war against the South. Our desire for more stuff, ideally paid for by someone else — Soak the rich! Bring home the bacon! — has led to the situation we’re in, where pols maintain their positions by bribing us with our own money, and most of us stupidly think it’s a good deal. No wonder so many people around the world see us as nitwits.
I find myself quite disinterested in the whole Palestinian question. They brought it on themselfves. If the Israelis wipe those off them in Palestine off face of the earth, I feel they’d be quite justified. They have the right of self defense. There would still be plenty of them around to trouble the councils of the weak and foolish, so it could hardly be considered genocide. They’d be in exile, like the Jews before them and probably the Romani.

By your reasoning, because of the action of the Nazis in Germany, we would have been justified in killing every last German in Germany after WW II. Ditto every last Japanese in Japan. I think you are getting a little carried away. I’ll admit I am not an expert on this Israel – Hamas thing and can only reference what I have read, heard and seen. I don’t believe Israel is trying to wipe out all Palestinians. They want to purge the world of Hamas.
This is very similar to the same reaction the USA had to 9-11 when they invaded Iraq to purge the world of Al Queada. How many hundreds of thousands did the USA kill in its effort to do the same thing Israel did.

I think USSR is basically an example of the mob taking over (1917, with the support of Germany and also, certain wealth western interests, see Larry Abraham/Gary Allen book “None Dare Call it Conspiracy”) in a time of chaos, and then methodically eliminating opposition and establishing a dictatorship.
In the USSR, my perception is the “proletariat” was uniformly poor, on a subsistence basis. Wealth was distributed unequally–everyone was poor.
America had wealth and income inequality–and still does.
Since the 1960s, and especially since the 1980s, the wealthy have bigger slice of the pie, in the US.
But the US was the best country, for the most people in terms of absolute numbers and percent of the population, during the 20th century.
To some extent, we are victims of our “success”.
As for the USSR being a threat, perhaps it was “above the table” and used to harass labor unions and progressives in the 1930s, I buy that. But Henry Ford, Armand Hammer, and other big capitalists invested in, and helped the USSR, stay afloat.
The big communist experiment ended, relatively peacefully (thank God!) in 1989-91. While I think America was infinitely better than the USSR, the USSR and USA have some big parallels–a huge military as the country is going broke.

My understanding is that Stalin was pretty tyrannical leader.
My understanding is that millions perished in the 1920s or 1930s in the Soviet Union from starvation.
It’s possible that could be Western “capitalist” exaggeration; or exaggeration from populist, anti-big money, America-first conservatives.
By the same token, if these things did occur, it is possible that American “progressive” exaggeration downplays that because it doesn’t agree with the progressive narrative that the USSR and Cuba were better places because of “Communism”.
Have you ever watched Oliver Stone’s multi-part documentary “Untold History of the United States”? I watched it–I thought it was pretty good. I think every American should watch it. I think Stone’s documentary offers a information that many Americans, especially “conservatives” are not aware of or ignore.
I think you might agree with Stone’s “progressive” bias. I’m OK with it because I’m aware of it. Everyone has a bias.
I like where he says “my experience in Vietnam changed my outlook. I was there”.
But even Stone is not perfect. I say this, because he makes some comments about the Greek Civil War, between the Communists (EAM//ELAS) and the Anglo-American-supported Greek Government.
Well, Stone was not there. Neither was I. However, I had the chance to talk to people who were in the crossfire. Stone’s account is little bit off, though his general point (on THAT facet of America’s history) is notionally correct.
And that makes me wonder about some other parts… what is he leaving out in order to make his point (leaving out key, pertinent facts is one of the most effective ways to promote one’s argument).
Still, that said, it’s a very good documentary. I saw it on Netflix (it’s been gone for years now), I would watch it again, a lot of unstated truths.
Another great documentary–from 2014/15, that I saw on Rumble in 2022 was Ukraine on Fire. Very eye-opening. Note the dates…the documentary was completed in 2014/15, before the Russian intervention.
My point is that your understanding comes from your immersion in US propaganda your entire life.
I understand that, I got it too. But I started running up against reality in the 80s, which made me question it more and more.
Eventually, I got to where I think I see it clearly.
For instance, I do know that there was a crop failure and famine in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus in the early 30s, and many people starved.
This is spun in the US as the “Holodomor”, and only the Ukrainian deaths are mentioned.
I think that my understanding is more balanced. I also know that there had been famines in those areas for centuries, because that is how life was, back in the day, but that they never had another one after that, due to improved farming and the irrigation dams they built.
Stalin was a strong leader, not a dictator, and the Soviets did execute about 800,000 people in the early days. I don’t justify that, but I also don’t scream about “a 100 million dead!!!!”, just because Timothy Snyder says to.
Remember that when Stalin died, millions of people came out to mourn. And even today, he is second in popularity to Putin, in Russian polls. And he wasn’t even Russian.

Our political legislature was never designed to be a full time job and a 30 year career. It was designed to be where the members of Congress would leave their jobs for a short period of time, pass a budget, establish some legislation and then return to their full time jobs and careers. It was intended to be public “service” and a sacrifice.
Somewhere along the lines of history serving in Congress became a full time job and a long term career. Of course these pricks in Congress will never do anything to limit their terms, their pay, or anything else because that will harm their careers, their livelihoods.
Here’s a couple of useless musings about our Congress and what I would like to see happen.
1. Congress needs to be vastly increased in size. There is nothing in the Constitution that says the Congress can’t be 2000 seats or even 5000 seats. Make the districts smaller and get the people closer to their so called representatives. In my state one representative represents nearly a million people. Absurd.
2. Congress needs to be a part time legislature. Have one congressional session every two years that lasts 3 months. Pass a budget, get some work done and recess until the next Congress. This full time legislature is strangling us. Send the pricks home for 18 months.
3. Congress creatures derive only a stipend for travel and lodging while they are in the legislative session. Once the session is over the stipend is revoked and they are required to sustain themselves.
It will never happen, but I day dream….

These two forms of government are unstable and don’t last. No amount of republican apologetics can ever change this basic fact concerning human nature. On average, a republic dies after 250 years – and we are at that point on our timeline. It should not be rocket science to understand that the USA is failing and heading for an ultimate living arragement very much like South America or Africa. We’ll have broken pavement and broken nations.
If nothing else (and there was much more), what Covid demonstrated was how little real intelligence and fortitude is left in the population. From what I hear in casual conversation among my peers, another round of medical terror will probably be successful.

I have a gut feeling that the plandemic was a one-and-done kind of event. The powers that be can not release another deadly virus because it will kill all of the people vaccinated against the previous virus now that they have a compromised immune system.
It would become fairly obvious that the new strain was making mincemeat out of one specific group and not the other.
Finally, my own daughter, someone that refused to listen to me, is vaccine injured though she will refuse to admit that her Lupus diagnosis has anything to with her mrna manipulation, is one of those people without an immune system now. The took the shot in order to keep her job being an assistant manager at a grocery store but can hardly ever go to work now because she has constant sinus infections, skin rashes, or other ailments.
My gut feeling, Nickel, is that they will try another “fake” plandemic using the ordinary flu to yet again scare the masses into more vaccination, masks, social distancing and probably even more insanity.
The thing that is different, and I feel this in my gut, is fewer people will be deceived this time. I may be wrong but I think if they try this again we will see more non-compliance.
Truth is, their have lost the confidence of the governed and can no longer govern. Our governments, both state and federal are completely illegitimate. The only thing keeping society as together as it is are the majority of good people still trying to live their lives in peace.
My wife took the shot when it first came out as well as the second dose but refused any of the 39 boosters they threw at us. I’ve been loading her up with resveratrol, quercetin, vitamin D and others. She has not had any injuries from the vaccine. At least not yet.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Our government is illegitimate. They have lost the confidence of the governed. It is the governed from who the government derives its authority. When the governed no longer have faith in the government the government has lost its authority and is therefore no longer legitimate and needs to be replaced. We are well past that point where at least half of America (probably closer to 3/4) no longer has any confidence in their government, ignores their diktats, and refuses to comply.
The problem with this is the government still wants compliance so it resorts to coercion to force compliance with their diktats. This is where governments become very dangerous. Once they start engaging in force and coercion that is when the governed finally have had enough and start hanging these fuckers from lamp posts. We aren’t quite there yet but it will come.

If this were true, Ann Barnhardt would have a hissy fit. She was pushing ivermectin like it was the holy grail (I bought a pile of it at great expense and now have no idea where I’ve put it). And she doesn’t like anything that even smells of birth control, let alone depopulation.

A friend of mine saw gnomes pretty often in her childhood but in her particular case the gnomes were not good news and instead seemed to be aligned with the dark arts dark force energies.

I just lost a 74 year old friend who had been diagnosed with mitral valve leakage a few years ago. Eventually she would need a valve replacement. The condition requires annual monitoring with EKG and echo cardiograms until it degrades enough that a replacement is necessary. Nowadays, not a big deal.
However she was very much into alternative medicine and did not trust allopathic (western) medicine. Despite some pleading from me to monitor she eventually went to an alternative healer for treatment as the condition became more acute. After a few days a wellness check found her deceased in her bed after suffering a heart attack while asleep.

I know very little about alternative medicine. I worked for 20 years for the world’s biggest scientific and medical publisher and used to mock alternative medicine (we published that too, but I preferred to work on ‘real’ medicine’).
However, I will avoid hospitals like the plague in future since becoming aware of:
(a) the use of Midazolam and morphine in UK and other hospitals to murder patients and call the deaths ‘covid’ deaths (more likely to happen if you are over-65 or disabled at any age);
(b) the application of DNAR notices without permission from either the patient or their relatives, with the same effect;
(c) the refusal to cancel DNAR notices when patients or relatives protested;
(d) patients being put on end-of-life care when they only came to hospital with breathing difficulties (and therefore just needed oxygen). End-of-life care (previously known as the Liverpool care pathway, which was allegedly discontinued but was just renamed end-of-life care) involves starving patients and depriving them of fluids, then administering lethal quantities of benzodiazepines, combined with opiates, mostly Midazolam/morphine, as specifically contra-indicated in the BNF (British National Formulary), in order to finish them off.

My husband took a booster of the allopathic medicine known as the covid not-vaccine and collapsed unconscious on our kitchen floor some time later. He was hospitalised and had to be followed up by a cardiologist for 8 months. I told the cardiologist about the booster (multiple people I know went the whole hog and died of heart attacks or turbo cancers after their covid boosters) and she ignored me.

I fell for the ivermectin story too, but it’s not sounding quite as kosher as it did. Those who deceive us do so in in a multi-layered fashion. Getting us to take something by telling us we’re not allowed to have it is Manipulation101. Mike Yeadon has been saying for ages that ivermectin is part of the psyop. Oh, and re hydroxychloroquine, there’s something in the article about mosquitos and malaria too.

Quite dense. I note that one of the many references found that a tetrogenic response at a dose of 121mg/day. Good thing that recommended dose is 3 mg.

I don’t think the recommended dose is 3mg. For a start, the dose is variable, as it depends on your body weight.
My ivermectin pills are 12mg.
Curing river blindness is great (if it’s true). Not so good if it cures your river blindness (maybe) and makes you infertile.
Like most medicines of this type the recommended base dose if used to compute a daily dose based on body weight. This dose is derived from toxicology studies and is standard practice. Here is the dosage table from the Mayo Clinic:
Each tablet contains 3 milligrams (mg) of ivermectin.
Weighing 85 kg or more—150 mcg/kg of body weight taken as a single dose.
Weighing 65 to 84 kg—4 tablets taken as a single dose.
Weighing 45 to 64 kg—3 tablets taken as a single dose.
Weighing 26 to 44 kg—2 tablets taken as a single dose.
Weighing 15 to 25 kg—1 tablet taken as a single dose.

Auron MacIntyre, The Total State: How Liberal Democracies Become Tyrannies, Regnery, 2024, 208 pp.
The American Right talks about power, realism, and human nature. It acts politically like a naïve child. The American Left talks about equality, empathy, and compassion. It acts politically like a single-minded tribalist.
There are many reasons for this, but part is ideological. In one of his most overlooked and yet important articles, “The Other Side of Modernism: James Burnham and His Legacy” (1987), Sam Francis argued that the American Right did not so much fail to develop an intellectual framework to challenge the Left, but abandoned one. It took refuge in religious fantasies and libertarian delusions rather than develop the modern and realistic worldview of James Burnham. “The Left perceived that Burnham’s inversion of modernism was a far more serious threat to it than the anti-modern traditionalism that many conservatives represented,” he wrote. His warning was prophetic: “Among contemporary conservatives only James Burnham offered a theoretical framework and a practical application of modernist political ideas that challenge the conventional modernist categories as defined by the Left.”
Yet, a “Machiavellian” tradition of power relations and self-interest can seem unsatisfactory. The Left’s messianic appeal is real, which is why its followers can be driven to heights of frenzy. A political tradition that emphasizes that nothing exists except the coldly realistic is, itself, uninspiring, which is why Burnham accepted the power of myth. To urge the American Right to “give up” on its own political myths is to ask it to deny itself.
Sam Francis died with his work tragically unfinished, but his book Leviathan is the closest we have to a complete political testament. It is a detailed analysis of the way managerial elites engineer us from the top down in the system the media call “Our Democracy.” Many white advocates who know Sam Francis from his pithy, sarcastic, and scathing polemics on racial politics might find an academic tome on James Burnham’s political theories surprising or even boring. For “normal” conservatives, however, Francis’s work on power dynamics is safer to discuss than his racial politics.

Mainstream American conservatives, however, still take refuge in myths about the Constitution, limited government, or the promise of a restoration under a political savior. The result is that American conservatism is either intellectually unserious or on the fringe. Sam Francis’s warnings about the intellectual failures of the American Right are as relevant now as they were 40 years ago. We need a conservative writer from the mainstream to get conservatives to think seriously about power, rather than someone from the Dissident Right offering another outsider critique.
The Total State by Auron MacIntyre is therefore the most important book on the American Right this year. It is a sort of NeoReaction 101 for conservatives, with Mr. MacIntyre leaning heavily on the work of Curtis Yarvin, Bertrand de Juvenal, Nick Land, Joseph de Maistre, and Gaetano Mosca. Yet it is not just a simplified, popularized version of the Dark Enlightenment for “normie” conservatives. Mr. MacIntyre is a talented writer who is familiar with academic theory but can follow up a sophisticated argument with a polemical summary or a powerful anecdote. Perhaps more importantly, Mr. MacIntyre is not on the fringe, and his gentle prodding of Americans, Christians, and conservatives to take their own side is very effective. The Total State is the perfect book by the perfect author to change the American Right.
The author is a former journalist and writes that “watching firsthand as journalists completely altered events and details to fit their pre-selected narratives” was “eye-opening.” He accuses them of not just twisting their subjects’ words but making them up or outright lying (11). My own view is that the media are the regime because shaping public opinion from the top down is what democracy now is. Mr. MacIntyre says that whatever was happening in politics, and whatever theory said about the way government should work, “the media narrative seemed to dominate all other priorities, shaping people’s actions in ways I had never thought possible.” This is not just another book whining about a “biased” media; it explains that willful deception by journalists is the tip of the spear for the entire system.
This system serves power, but it is not a simple command-and-control model like a “fascist” organization. “No shadowy cabal of overlords was handing down marching orders; no editorial meeting was held confirming an anti-Trump direction, but every low-level propogandist with a journalism degree suddenly thought it was their solemn duty to destroy the orange menace,” he writes. “No falsehood was too great, and any and every distortion of the truth could be justified in the name of damaging what these zealots saw as the second coming of Adolf Hitler.” (12) Conservatives must understand the cruelty of “the press and the ruling class they represented” and their eagerness to “exploit and destroy what they saw as backward hicks for fun and profit.” Yes, they really do hate you, and yes, what is being done to you is done on purpose.
The book answers many questions: Why did the Constitution so completely fail to limit government action during the COVID pandemic? Why were some Americans forbidden to attend church or go to meetings while others got free reign not just to rally but to riot? Why does the GOP refuse to take up even popular causes? Conservatives must wake up; their beloved constitutional republic does not work.
Who is the “ruling class”? Mr. MacIntyre answers in terms of its institutional role — an answer of “what” rather than “who.” This is one way of approaching the problem, but some will see it as unsatisfactory.
The “who” is important. Mr. MacIntyre repeatedly asserts that power always seeks to centralize. We know that the federal government tries to limit what is discussed online, to the point of demanding that specific people be deplatformed. The New York Times pushed the “1619 Project” to give Black Lives Matter an academic veneer. “When Harvard comes to a conclusion on an issue of public policy,” writes Mr. MacIntyre, “Yale is soon to follow, the media quickly reports the findings, government bureaucracy implements them, and schools are teaching them in short order.” (29)
If I have one quibble with this book, it is that The Total State claims that power centralizes but also that we live under a “decentralized atheistic theocracy,” in which “progressive liberalism” has swept through institutions, taken on a life of its own, and become useful to those seeking status and power. My own view is that this process is more consciously directed. We have seen an actual split at Ivy League colleges because of the pro-Palestine protests, with elites fighting over policy and personnel decisions rather than all following a universally understood program.
However, Mr. MacIntyre is right that modern progressivism is essentially religious. Paul Gottfried called our system a “secular theocracy” in 2004 in Multiculturalism and the Politics of Guilt, and it may not even be accurate to call it “secular” after 2020, when churches of all denominations prostrated themselves before George Floyd. Mr. MacIntyre identifies universities as the “churches” of the new regime and cites Curtis Yarvin’s model of the “Cathedral” — a “decentralized network of organizations and individuals responsible for manufacturing a cultural consensus” inside universities, the media, public education, and the bureaucracy. Mr. MacIntyre argues that because progressivism is a kind of religion, no conspiracy is needed because “those who manufacture the narrative of our civilization” all “go to the same house of worship.” Even if Mr. Yarvin’s view that there is no conscious conspiracy were correct, he and Mr. MacIntyre are right about its ability to force ordinary people “voluntarily” to conform. Joe Sobran called the Left “The Hive.”
Not long ago, even if we admitted that elites ruled, and “democracy” was a polite fiction, it did not mean we lived under a “total state.” Elites did not need to control all opinions, just enough to maintain power. However, the internet gave everyone a microphone and thus turned everyone into a potential threat.
Quoting Curtis Yarvin, Mr. MacIntyre writes that we are in a total state because “everyone and everything is infused with power” and thus “everyone is either a collaborator or a dissident.” There can be no private life, not just because the personal is political, but because the internet gives everyone the theoretical ability to turn personal views into a political force.
Despite the growth of government, the average person feels “liberated” because government took over the social obligations people once had to family or to intermediate institutions such as churches or guilds. Mr. MacIntyre argues that the modern state confiscates more taxes, imposes more surveillance, and commands more obligations than any absolute ruler of the past, but “so long as this is done while freeing the individual from traditional social obligations, not only do its citizens not feel oppressed, they see themselves as liberated.” (37) The desire to impose “neutrality” in government instead of personal rule does not lead to freedom, but builds a bureaucracy molded by incentives (including measures such as DEI) until it becomes monolithic. The absolute “liberation” of the individual leads to absolute subjugation to the state. Today, we see attempts by academics, media, and the state to “liberate” children from their families in the name of “transgenderism.” Ultimately, the more people are “liberated” and atomized, the more power flows into the hands of bureaucrats, politicians, media, and teachers.
It is a chicken-and-egg question whether such material interests cause an ideology of “liberation” or whether the ideology leads to a class that benefits from such a system. Either way, progressives love ever-expanding social engineering that overwhelms conservative appeals to equality before the law or institutional rights. “[Progressives] believe America is a place of deep inequality, that it has reached its position of privilege due to the immoral exploitation of that inequality, and that any action taken in the pursuit of rectifying that inequality is not just permissible but morally necessary,” Mr. MacIntyre writes. “The system is bigoted in every imaginable way, and so the acquisition of power is always the first priority as this is the only way to overcome such deeply entrenched injustice.” Thus, in 2020, fighting for “social justice” was more important than normal people going to work or school. Rioters got special permission to riot, while conservatives appealed vainly to universal, individual rights.
Some conservatives argue that the Constitution will save us, but Mr. MacIntyre shows it has already failed. “Division of powers” is pointless because each branch serves public opinion, which can be dictated by mass media, education, and marketing. “[M]aintaining power in a democratic system means maintaining control over how the populace perceives and understands the world around them,” writes Mr. MacIntyre. “As each branch of government becomes more vulnerable to the democratic process, control of power hinges increasingly on the ability to manipulate the masses.” (53) It may seem startling to conservatives to think of institutions becoming “vulnerable” to the democratic process, but Mr. MacIntyre makes this seem intuitive and natural. Manipulating public opinion becomes the only skill that matters in a democracy. Moreover, there is no purely “mechanical” system to guarantee a perfectly functioning government. A constitution is only a written distillation of what a people intuitively understands about the role of government, and if that people changes, so does that understanding.

Laws do not function in a vacuum, and it is wrong to speak of a government of laws, not men. Men always rule. Again, though, this seems to run counter to a premise of the book that the system runs almost mechanically in a decentralized way through the triumph of progressivism.
The Constitution will certainly not save us: “Relying too heavily on a written constitution simply incentivizes a nation’s leaders to become skilled at twisting and shaping language in order to circumvent the restrictions created by the formal meaning of the words.” (57) “Wokeness,” filled the metaphysical void left by Americans trusting in the ability of a document permanently to solve existential political questions.
Mr. MacIntyre cites Carl Schmitt on the existential nature of politics, which is ultimately about identity. A mainstream conservative citing Carl Schmitt (albeit regretting his “deeply unfortunate” involvement with Nazism) is a milestone. Yet it is necessary, and even the most liberal professor (until recently) would acknowledgment Schmitt’s importance. He dynamited the theoretical premises of liberalism, particularly liberalism’s promise to remove the friend/enemy distinction from politics by reducing it to a friendly debate in the marketplace of ideas where all parties have rights. In reality, because it is impossible to remove the friend/enemy distinction, what actually results is an “ever-expanding ideological empire,” with those who “serve to strengthen the power of the state” becoming friends and “those who seek to compete with or restrain it” becoming enemies. The “myth of the neutral institution,” or “value-free” institution lets the total state “obfuscate the advance of its own values inside the key structures of civilization.” (64)
Carl Schmitt
Mr. MacIntyre’s emphasis on deception, myth, and obfuscation is important because conservatives and libertarians are fooled by them. The idea of popular sovereignty is dangerous not just because it abolishes the separation between private society and the state, but because it conceals the reality that someone always rules.
“[In theory] the people rule, and so there is less need to think about who wields supreme authority,” he writes. “Which is very convenient for those who actually do wield supreme authority.” (65) Similarly, because (in Schmitt’s view) politics derives from theology, the state becomes essentially a god and “exceptions” — when normal laws are suspended — are like miracles. Much as a miracle shows the power of God, the state of exception shows who is sovereign and whose interests are served. The Enlightenment conceit that personal leadership is a problem and politics can be reduced to a neutral system is no protection against tyranny. Instead, trusting in a mere system advances tyranny by disguising sovereignty and concealing the truth that people wield power.
Mr. MacIntyre insists that there is no definable conspiracy or group we can point to that oversees the total state. However, citing Vilfredo Pareto and Machiavelli, Mr. MacIntyre offers a functional definition. Leaders can be classified as “lions” (conservative, capable of wielding force, favoring order) or “foxes” (skilled in manipulation of ideas, socially liberal, favorable to change). When societies mature, foxes tend to replace lions because the need for overt force declines. Mr. MacIntyre again destroys illusions by arguing that our “modern aversion to overt force” can mislead because all society rests on a monopoly of force. It may be more dangerous for people to pretend that they are exempt from this rule than bluntly to exercise power. Most people fear the truth.
Furthermore, just because “foxes” do not often use direct force does not mean that they do not use it. They rule through “deceit” and the “manipulation of systems along with the subtle control of information and data to maintain order.” (75) Democracy makes us more vulnerable to force by “obfuscate[ing] the source of power” away from a definable sovereign to a “nameless, faceless, ever-shifting process” that can never be held accountable. I have argued for years that no society can be meaningfully “free” if there is no awareness of who is sovereign. In contrast, we are ruled by an elite that uses control of information to govern both private and public institutions, ruthlessly vets bureaucrats for ideological conformity, and selectively enforces laws depending on political agendas.
Mr. MacIntyre links the elite to the “managerial class” defined by James Burnham and Sam Francis. He quotes Sam Francis extensively, which is gratifying for longtime AR readers. Francis said:
The corporation must promote the homogenization of society because of the nature of mass production and mass consumption. Mass production requires not only homogenous goods and services produced by the same molds and processes, but also homogenous consumers, who cannot vary in their tastes, values, and patterns of consumption and who must consume if the planning of the corporations is to be effective. . . . Managerial capitalism must therefore articulate and sponsor an ideology of cosmopolitanism that asserts universal identities, values, and loyalties, challenges the differentiations of the bourgeois order, and rationalizes the process of homogenization.
It is this that online rightists have taken to calling “GloboHomo,” short for Global Homogenization. It is also a dig at the homosexual rainbow flag that has become the banner of global corporations (until it was arguably displaced by the intersectional flag). The surface “diversity” preached by elites only undermines the real diversity of nations and peoples, much as the “diversity” on a college campus strengthens ideological uniformity. One can invent new sexual or gender identities or promote “pride” in various non-white races, but all these are varieties of consumerism. Instead of social mobility through independence, such supposedly diverse constituencies become client groups of the total state, its “social justice movements,” and justify ever-expanding government programs and NGO-based education programs.

As a result, all levels of society are increasingly supervised by credentialed experts boasting university degrees, which Mr. MacIntyre calls “the genesis of the Cathedral,” and the origin of a memeplex of interlocking ideas that reinforce each other.
We can see how this works every day. “Experts” are the final authority not just in education but in the military, business, policing — everything. The universal cure for every social problem is more “education” and expert supervision. “Sam Francis outlines how even the legal system has become an important battlefield in the law between the old bourgeois and the new managerial elites,” Mr. MacIntyre writes. “Just as the capitalists used the principles of ‘rule of law’ and ‘equality before the law’ to limit and deconstruct the power of monarchs in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the managerial elite seeks to shift the law towards results-based administrative procedure.” (92) Thus, trials become contests of highly credentialed (and expensive) “experts” dueling over arcane points of administrative minutiae rather than anything the Framers would recognize.
Mr. MacIntyre credits Paul Gottfried with the concept of the “therapeutic state” — the way the managerial elite creates a continuous moral panic to justify its existence. War, crime, poverty, and other social problems cease to be part of the human condition and instead become pathologies that arise from flawed social institutions not yet under expert control. Mr. MacIntyre also quotes Sam Francis, who noted that “whether sincere or not,” the real effect of managerial political and social reforms is to ” ‘liberate’ the masses from the tyranny of bourgeois or prescriptive institutions, and to homogenize the mass population and bring it under the discipline of the mass organizations.” (94–95, quoted from Sam Francis in Leviathan) In other words, this is why almost every news story, education program, or government initiative ends with a call for more bureaucratic control and more funding.
Humans are not all identical, so it is not always easy to control them. The state will therefore “actively seek to shape the private and public lives of its citizens in order to homogenize influences that could introduce variance an instability.” This includes replacing sin and punishment with “medicalization of deviance.” What a prior generation would call evil can be fought through therapy, treatment, and programs, with a new clergy of professors and scientists replacing priests. “Under the total state’s model of behavior,” Mr. MacIntyre writes, “humans are inherently good, with the possible exception of straight white Christian males.” Education solves every problem — which means that traditional solutions, which tell men to behave with grace and honor in the face of eternal evils, are morally suspect and a surrender.
This means there are no inevitable tradeoffs — only errors of judgment, which encourage totalitarian rage against dissenters who stand in the way of progress. Of course, “the science” can be self-contradictory because it follows expedience, not facts. Why are sexual preferences supposedly inherent, but sex is no longer bound by biology? Why do genes set sexual orientation, but in-group preference is “racist”? Why are pedophiles “minor attracted persons” suffering from a tragic inherent misfortune, but men who desire fit, attractive women are morally deficient? Dissenters must never state an opinion, because we lack the credentials to be part of the “new priestly caste [that] will always favor the political priorities of the total state.” (102) So shut up, bigot.
From this perspective, compulsory state-funded education looks increasingly sinister, because it is the most effective way to break children away from family ties and inherent loyalties. Nothing is inherent or sacred because everything is a question of applying the proper technique to achieve the best social outcome. “A thoroughly secularized therapeutic culture would create the narrative justification for constant state intervention through the bureaucratic application of scientifically developed courses of treatment,” Mr. MacIntyre argues. “By stripping away the natural human preference for particular cultures, religions, moral systems, and aesthetics, social engineers can create subjects that are far easier to manage.” (107)
Human identity, insists Mr. MacIntyre, does not come from a set of rights, but from limitations. It is shaped “far more dramatically by what the individual is not than what he is free to become.” (111) This is critical, because the essential tenet of modern liberalism is that identity is invented. While the state promises to liberate man from unchosen social bonds, it actually unmakes him. This includes what Sam Francis called the “dematerialization of property and the replacement of the entrepreneurial firm as the dominant form of economic organization by the mass corporations and unions under managerial control.” In other words, the political forms and abstractions so beloved by conservatives and libertarians arise from distinctive material and social circumstances. Without them (namely “hard property and independent ownership”), those political forms cease to exist. Many conservatives will resist this conclusion, which may seem Marxist, that ideology grows out of material circumstances.
What has been done to the (largely white) American middle class is also being done to the rest of the world. Instead of building empires, experts bring modernization and “human rights” to the benighted. NGOs and “color revolutions” mobilize constituencies eager for liberalism, thus undermining national sovereignty. Mass media manipulate public opinion. New governments owe their power not to their own people, but to the West.
Both the First and Third Worlds are subject to the same international class of elites who have more cultural similarity to each other than to their own peoples. Mr. MacIntyre points out that this is not really Western exploitation of non-Western countries, because Western countries become just as economically dependent on the Third World, as managerial control imposes a complex, international trading system that strives to homogenize everyone. Ultimately, countries themselves become economic units at the service of international bureaucrats.
Mr. MacIntyre’s best contribution comes from his explanation of the NRx (Dark Enlightenment) dictum that “Cthulhu swims slowly, but he always swims to the left.” He explains Robert Conquest’s three laws: everyone is conservative about what he knows best, all organizations if not explicitly right-wing become left-wing, and every bureaucratic organization can best be understood by assuming it is controlled by a secret cabal of its enemies.
It is not merely that institutions lose track of their founding principles as time passes and systems grow more complex. It is that the mere fact of opening up foundational principles to debate serves to undermine them. “Once the core values of a social organization are up for debate, they are over.” “Once the foundational axioms of an organization have entered the realm of open discussion, it will always and inevitably move to the left.” This is true. To open discussion undermines what was once unchallengeable. Thus, even for those of us friendly to “free speech” as a principle, allowing free speech or open admissions in our own organizations may doom them. “Anyone who is not defending, maintaining, and gatekeeping the things they love and care about will watch them decay and eventually be destroyed,” Mr. MacIntyre argues. Even the most stalwart gatekeeper will fall to entropy, because chaos is inevitable. Conflict is eternal.
This happens within corporations, subcultures, fandoms, political movements, and countries. “Once the organization has birthed a bureaucracy that can prioritize its own needs over those it was designed to serve,” Mr. MacIntyre says, “a clear split develops in the incentive structure, and that split only widens over time.” This explains Mr. Conquest’s seemingly counterintuitive third rule, and why giving more resources to a bureaucracy may make it worse at fulfilling its supposed mission.
The interest of a bureaucrat within an organization is his own position, not the organization’s. Promoting conflict within an organization or developing a new power base leads to new opportunities for advancement. It is thus not surprising that the consistent cry in everything from politics to business and even to entertainment is that existing citizens, customers, or fans must be replaced by new “underrepresented” constituencies. The decision by a Bud Light executive to promote transgenderism to working-class beer drinkers may seem bizarre, but that executive might have made the right career move for herself.
Mr. MacIntyre suggests that all these trends doom an organization to eventual collapse, because entropy will come for the total state, too. “It is a common misconception that regimes fall when they become overbearing and totalitarian,” he says. “Regimes fall when they have grown weak and decadent, unable to control the population through the manipulation of the fox or the force of the lion. When elites close themselves off to the natural circulation of new talent, they grow soft, and those denied access can suddenly disrupt the status quo.”
Modern managers may not be adding value to our current institutions. “Both James Burnham and Samuel Francis would recognize that managers are essential for the operation of massified organizations, but [Alasdair] MacIntyre asserts that most modern bureaucracy is simply a product of the cancer-like growth of the managerial class and does not actually produce notable increases in efficiency,” the author says. “These layers of bureaucratic management exist only for the purpose of facilitating power.” DEI is the most obvious example. We are oppressed, but by impotence rather than power.
Mr. MacIntyre suggest that the total state will fail because “widely different peoples spread across vast distances cannot, and will not, be governed as one unified whole.” He also cites evidence that Americans’ quality of life is declining. Obviously, race realists and white advocates welcome the view that diversity is not strength. Human nature will eventually overcome social engineering.
However, I am reminded of Winston Smith’s feeble protest in 1984 that the spirit of man will somehow defeat the Party. The Total State has proven able to eradicate entire identifies once thought immutable (such as white Southern identity) within just a few years and legitimize practices (such as child “transgenderism”) that would have sparked revolt not long ago.

That which I see/foresee are high density structures popping-up all over the place, medium income developments, and upscale and gated communities, all of which could easily have commercial services nearby (if they don’t already) to accommodate the 15 minute city concept. This will integrate/accommodate the UN 2030 SDG’s in many regards.
Armstrong talks about the US implementing a CBDC by the first quarter of 2025. My thoughts are that this will prevent people from “gaming the system”, and from there they can implement a UBI, housing in high density structures, and access to nearby medical services. If successful, this will go a long way to satisfying many of the UN 2030 SDG’s.
Initially, as we have seen, there will be much resistance to implementation of the 2030 Agenda. In short order, the US will be forced to address/accommodate the needs of the migrant population, and I foresee that the majority of this group will gladly accept and embrace the agenda.
The UBI, housing in high density structures, and access to nearby medical services, will also be embraced by a segment of the homeless population, and I anticipate that this population will grow as higher taxes are imposed to accommodate the deficit spending.
I anticipate that this bottom rung of society will ultimately comprise the majority of the population, and that over the course of several generations, the wealth will be stripped by taxation from the middle and upper class members/families.
Some combination of achievement and a social credit score will allow individuals/families to climb the UBI ladder to slightly better living/learning accommodations, and for those misfits who refuse to integrate and play the game, well, Xi has developed a routine for dealing with them.
People will be forced to play the game, or lose by default. Energy costs will soar, to the point where non-energy efficient structures will no longer be viable, and the residents will default to the bottom rung. Plan to heat with wood, and the government will regulate/tax/fine you into compliance. Poor quality structures will be stripped from the landscape, and then the plan for an efficient landscape/living arrangement can come to fruition (without all the obstacles).
We need to come to the realization that the 2030 Agenda is already being implemented, and figure out how to terminate or embrace the change.

The crew was all Mexican, working at a fast clip, never a dull moment, cleaned the restrooms and dining area when they had the time. I was off to one side of the order counter studying the menu, and the lady who appeared to be the “conductor” came over and asked if I was ready to order, I told her that I was still considering the options, and she told me to let her know if I had any questions , or when I was ready to order. Clocks, watches, timepieces etc became especially important with the advent of the Railroads in the 1840s. I have a copy of a RR schedule for my little town from 1856; departures and arrivals broken down minute by minute. 12 different trains representing the Canal Line & the Connecticut Western came thru here daily; you could get a train at noon and be in NYC — with a layover in New Haven — by 6:00 pm.

I felt like some sort of crunchy salty snack and, much to my pleasure and pretty much by accident, found, on the top back of my stove, a plastic container, formerly of cottage cheese, containing some ‘Asian’ popcorn that I had popped and left over from about a few days ago. So that’s what I’m having with some orange juice as I compose this comment.
So what is ‘Asian’ popcorn? Well, that’s what I call it when I pop it with peanut or sesame oil and then drizzle the popped kernals with some kind of sauce, like teriyaki or soya and then place it on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven for an hour at lowest setting (~170 deg. F) to dry out the sauce on the popcorn.
I’ve never tried to add any spice to it, though, like that Chinese five-spice mix, but I might one day.
Could edible “plastic” be made? Why should we have to waste the containers?
Is Zerzan a cult leader? I think some have said so.
I was recently thinking of selling in bulk where the stores got it in bulk and people brought in their own containers that the staff filled. Our products are still overpackaged and probably overshipped too, meaning that, in-season local apples for example could be sold here instead of apples grown in Chile sold here at the same time. Lots of common-sense things can be done that just aren’t of course.

I have MANY questions, which will probably never be answered.
Some background:
First of all, it’s generally accepted that Azerbaijan (Islamic) and Israel are very close. Israel has supplied Azerbaijan with lots of weapons–perhaps at discount. Maybe Azeri oil goes to Israel at discount. Maybe Israel has listening posts or drone bases in Azerbaijan…
It’s generally accepted that the two nations closest to Azerbaijan are TURKEY (with proven genocidal track record–which is usually ignored as not to embarass our “NATO ally”) and ISRAEL (working on their little genocide).
The Azerbaijanis are “Turkic peoples” so they are related to the Turks, BTW.
It’s kind of irrelevant who is the better friend, in this context. BOTH nations were indispensable in Azerbaijan’s decisive military superiority vis-a-vis Armenia.
It’s reasonable to assume the “quid pro quo” for Israeli arms and aid may include Israeli intelligence gathering facilities, maybe drone bases, with which the Israelis can spy on Iran. This ability, if it exists, would be, and IS, invaluable to Israel.
In this context, it is the Israeli relationship that is of importance.
Moscow, for its own purposes, didn’t put as much pressure on Azerbaijan as might have been expected.
Perhaps this has something to do with (nominally Christian) Armenia’s dalliance with the West, which irritates Moscow; perhaps it was to do with “keep your friends close and enemies closer” thinking in Moscow, which means the Russians don’t want friction with Azerbaijan at this time. I DO NOT KNOW.

Perhaps an IRANIAN rival of Raisi wanted him out? Maybe some one more hawkish–who can point at Israel and the US to blame, and rally more elements of Iran to a more hawkish policy.
I don’t think Iran wants a bigger war, in general, and I definitely think Iran does not want one now–later is better, time is on their side. Israel has tried to provoke Iran, and Iran has been measured and not taken the bait.
A more dovish Iranian rival? I doubt it. This episode, which if President Raisi is actually dead, is very bad news, and will only strengthen the hawks in Iran. And consequently, the US.
A Russian? To get a more hawkish Iran? I don’t think Russia wants that.
A Ukrainian intel op? Does a more hawkish Iran help Zelensky? Logically, no, but Zelensky is a moron and a puppet. Maybe the US green-lighted the Ukraine, so there is NO CONNECTION with the CIA or Special Forces.
Finally, there were reports here and there that recently, US officials and Iranian officials met to try to “deconflict” a little. Are those accounts true? False? Who knows? But, if TRUE, and now this happens? So that was part of the American deception–and the Iranians bought it?
Again, I return to my original question: with the Middle East as volatile and primed as it is, WHY would Raisi visit a country he had has had difficult relations with, quite possibly Israel’s closest Islamic ally (in PRACTICE)? Why take the risk? Why leave his country, when every day could lead to an Israeli-Iranian blow-up, triggered by some underling on either side who thinks “it’s time to teach them a lesson”.
It was an ill-advised trip, for a phony photo op (to the best of my knowledge). And there is a lot I don’t know.
But I think this is bad.
Then, I step back and think, well, if I was a Palestinian, things really are very bad–bombs, famine, no water, rubble flies, pestilence. So, this is merely bad. Like our runaway deficit.
As I see, President Raisi represented a lesser threat to myself and middle America, than Alice Stewart.
Let me be clear, I take NO pleasure in her death. It is very sad, and chilling reminder that none of the vaxxed, none of my vaxxed friends and family, are safe.
Her story reminds me of an old friend, whose sudden death saddened and shocked me (an others).
But reading Alice Stewart’s tweets, and how she pushed the mRNA shots and ridiculed those who did not, STEWART was a greater threat to me, many CFNers, and Americans in general.

The Gaza Health Ministry is reporting that the Ebrahim Raisi‘s helicopter also was carrying 500-1000 women and children who are also presumed dead. Further complicating the tragedy, the helicopter crashed into a hospital for disabled children, killing all the patients and staff. The Ministry estimates the death toll will eventually reach five figures and that 95% of the victims were newborn babies.
….That sounds a bit too far fetched and made up just to make the story appear ten times more tragic. I doubt that happened.

It’s no secret that there are a number of Masonic astronauts and the questions have been posed: Why are so many astronauts also Masons? And what did the first moonwalk have to do with Masonry? The answer boils down to one simple word: progress. Freemasons have always been on the cutting edge of new advancements and behind the development of impactful breakthroughs and innovations.
If the goal is to spread light wherever we go, then why not spread light past earth’s boundaries and into the darkest places we can reach? Brother Aldrin did just that, proving the point that “when man reaches new worlds, Masonry will be there.”
From Buzz Aldrin to John Glenn, many notable astronauts and American heroes also belong to the world’s oldest fraternity.
Masons are men on a quest to become part of something bigger than themselves, constantly seeking deeper insight into the mysteries of the universe. This curiosity and pursuit of knowledge is a driving force that binds brethren together. It is also why Freemasonry has seen its fair share of pioneering men within its ranks throughout the centuries. Among the intellectual titans that have graced lodge rooms across the globe, few have taken their path to the heights – literally – as those Brothers who have ventured among the stars.

Ill. John Glenn, Jr., 33°
John Glenn, Freemason and Astronaut
Illustrious John Glenn, 33° was an inspiration to many, both inside the fraternity and beyond. He was an American hero, serving in both World War II and the Korean War, and flying 149 missions, ultimately becoming a decorated astronaut and United States senator. His accomplishments amongst the stars were many, as he was the first American to orbit the Earth aboard Friendship 7 on February 20, 1962, on the Mercury-Atlas 6 mission. For this feat, President John F. Kennedy presented him with the NASA Distinguished Service Medal.
Glenn had a long and accomplished journey in Freemasonry beginning in 1964 when he petitioned Concord Lodge No. 688 in his hometown of New Concord, Ohio. He didn’t officially join the fraternity until August 19, 1978, where he was made a “Mason at Sight” by the Grand Master of Ohio, Jerry C. Rastor. He later earned his Scottish Rite degrees in the Valley of Cincinnati on April 11, 1997. The very next year he was named Sovereign Grand Inspector General and became a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason, Honorary Member of the Supreme Council. During his last journey to space in 1998, he wore his 33° degree ring and made history as the oldest man to travel to space at the age of 77.
Today, his cap and 33° ring are preserved at the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum and Library.
Col. “Buzz” Aldrin
Buzz Aldrin, Freemason and Astronaut
The first Mason on the moon and a member of the Apollo 11 expedition, Brother Edwin Eugene (Buzz) Aldrin, Jr. has had an extraordinary journey as a man and as a Freemason. Piloted by Bro. Aldrin himself, the first moonwalk was a momentous occasion for all humanity and a proud day for Freemasonry.
In fact, Aldrin received a special deputation from the Grand Master of Texas, J. Guy Smith to open a Representation of the Grand Lodge of Texas on the Moon and establish Masonic Territorial Jurisdiction there for the Grand Lodge of Texas. He carried the deputation to the moon on that famous moon landing in 1969.
Brother Aldrin was initiated into Freemasonry at Oak Park Lodge No. 864 in Alabama and raised at Lawrence N. Greenleaf Lodge, No. 169 in Colorado. He is also a member of York Rite and Arabia Shrine Temple of Houston.
Col. Leroy “Gordo” Gordon Cooper, Jr., 33°

Leroy Gordon Cooper, Jr., was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on March 6, 1927. He was fascinated with flying from an early age and was flying his family’s plane by the age of eight. By the age of twelve he was flying solo and taking his first steps in what would go on to become an illustrious aerospace career.
Following his love of flying, Cooper enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, also pursuing a degree in aeronautical engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He flew F-84s and F-86s in the Eighty-Sixth Fighter Bomber group in Munich before becoming a test pilot in the Flight Test Division at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
In 1959, Bro. Cooper’s passion for flying took him to new heights when the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) chose him to be one of the original seven Mercury astronauts – the first manned space program of the United States. Cooper accomplished several critical milestones for the program. He was the pilot for Faith 7, the final and longest Mercury flight in which he flew for over 34 hours, orbiting the earth 22 times.
Several years later in 1965, he acted as command pilot on Gemini 5, spending eight days in space and paving the way for the round-trip journey to the moon. During this voyage, Cooper honored the fraternity when he brought along a Scottish Rite banner to celebrate the journey. He was ardently committed to Freemasonry; a Master Mason of Carbondale Lodge, No. 82 in Carbondale, Colorado, he also was a member of the Shrine and York Rite, and received the honorary 33° degree from the Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction.
Donn F. Eisele
Donn F. Eisele, Freemason and Astronaut
A member of Luther B. Turner Lodge, No. 732 in Columbus, Ohio, Bro. Eisele earned an impressive stat sheet while working for NASA. He spent 11 days in space during the Apollo 7 tour and orbited the earth 163 times during that time. By the time the mission was over, he had traveled 4.5 million miles.
Virgil “Gus” Grissom
Gus Grissom, Freemason and Astronaut
Born in Indiana, where he would one day become a member of Mitchell Lodge, No. 228, he was enthralled with flying from a young age, Grissom enlisted in the recently formed United States Air Force in 1951. While he would go on to fly 100 combat missions in the Korean War as a wingman, he never saw combat.
A few years later, Bro. Grissom was selected as a Project Mercury astronaut and became the second man to venture into outer space on July 21, 1961. Sadly, in 1967, while training for what would be the first Apollo mission, a fire was sparked in the oxygen rich capsule and sadly killed Grissom during a pre-launch test.
In honor of his service to the country, Grissom was buried at Arlington National Cemetery. A true pioneer who helped to greatly advance the United States’ space program, his funeral was attended by President Johnson and members of the U.S. Congress.

Students can go to university to get an academic degree. Masons can go to lodge to get a Masonic degree.
And that about connection with Freemasonry is just utterly negligible as far as I’m concerned: I have zero problem with them. Or with the Jesuits, or the Knights of the Bath, or the Knights of the Garter. Or with the Qohelethim of Yetzirah.
