Syrian Observatory activists say that Russian and Turkish forces conducted a new joint patrol in Al-Darbasiyah countryside. According to SOHR sources, a patrol of six Turkish vehicles and six other Russian ones started from Sherik border crossing on Turkey border, west of Al-Darbasiyah, and toured the villages of Dalik, Malak, Zahr Al-Arab, Kasra, Salam Alik, Qunaytara and Qurmaniyah. As the joint patrol has accomplished, the Turkish vehicles continued their way to the Turkish territories, while the Russian vehicles returned to Al-Qamishly.

Syrian Observatory activists reported a few days earlier that Russian and Turkish forces conducted a new joint patrol which toured several village in Al-Darbasiyah and Amuda countryside. According to SOHR sources, a patrol of four Turkish vehicles and other six Russian ones started from Sherik border crossing and toured the villages of Balik, Malak, Zahr Al-Arab, Bar Kafri, Siberika, Tal Kamber and Qarbatli. All of these villages overlook Al-Hasakah-Al-Darbasiyah highway.

After that, the patrol headed to the western countryside of Amuda where it toured the villages of Jadidah, Qattini, Tal Tatiri, Tal Karmah, Khasiki, Madouri, Khashfa, Abu Jiradi and Baherah, then the patrol returned to back to Sherik. The patrol was escorted by Russian helicopters flying at a low altitude.

It is noteworthy that it is the second time for the Russian-Turkish joint patrols to reach Amuda countryside, but it is the first time for these patrol to tour villages there.
