Trump launches savage attack on EU leaders amid soaring Iran tensions - ‘I don’t care!’

DONALD TRUMP launched a scathing attack on EU leaders, claiming he “didn’t care about Europeans” because “they’re making a lot of money from Iran”.

Donald Trump: I don’t care about the Europeans

US President Donald Trump criticised countries such as France for selling cars to their Middle East rival during an interview with Chuck Todd on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’. According to the Independent, he issued a chilling warning as well to Iran amid soaring tensions between the two sparring countries. Trump told the presenter that he was highly critical of European leaders’ efforts to try and uphold the Iran nuclear deal, which was created back in 2015.

He said: “I don’t care about Europeans.

“And let me tell you, we’re very good to Europe. We take care of them. NATO, we spend a tremendous amount.

“On trade, the European Union’s taken, really, they have really taken advantage of us for a long time.”

His comments came after he said he had called off an attack on Iran.

Trump had considered striking after Iran shot down an American drone.

But he said attacking would not be “proportionate” to their actions.

He added: “I have so many targets you wouldn’t believe … We have targets all over.

“I’m not looking for war and if there is, it’ll be obliteration like you’ve never seen before.

“But I’m not looking to do that."
