The developer of Classic Shell announced yesterday on the official forum that he won't work on the program anymore. He provided three explanations for stopping development of the application:

Lack of free time because of other interests.
Windows 10 is updated too frequently (twice a year with a new feature update) which makes it difficult to keep up with the development, especially since updates break functionality of Classic Shell frequently.

Microsoft changing the core of Windows from being based on the classic Win32 programming model, and thereby making it more difficult for developers to achieve the level of customization that Classic Shell offers.

The last official version of Classic Shell, version 4.3.1 was released yesterday as well. Users of the application can download and install it.

Als je de functie waarnaar ik refeer in het bovenstaande welke een KLEIN deel is van de werkelijk code die erachter zit ? (A VERY SMALL PART)

het windows systeem heeft Functies en procedures De werkelijke coder die hier voor en hier achter zit is .. Wel i own that line by line .. this is just the Adress to the function i am using in the windows os and it's just ONE of hundrets .. Can i see the actual code ? NO

Wat probeer ik hier te zeggen.. The programmer stopped ? they wait a while ? change something specifically target to BREAK Classic Shell by changing the code in a DLL.

And Voila!

For those people who think they can use the above to get anything done ?

That is pretty much a copy of az online database that i changed .. Why ? Resources
with any compiler you have resouces that are Suppost to help you avoid having to create the code line by line to do something that actually works ?

,now meet the windows Vista and UP , the higher you go up to the moste recent version of 10 ? why does it not work ? How the heck am i suppost to know that ? You know what I'll fix the problem Myself BY creating the entire code i need to get Something done

They cannot just do that and have everything run.. Something wil break so they can test..
lets try again and again , at some poinjt everything works but Classic Shell DOES NOT.

Is that security or are you forcing people to use the default start ?

you pretty much have a heck of a time to Find the actually files ..

i CAN use that to change the Acces DO whatever i need to do and change it Back the way i found it one of the reasons i use it for ? the User interface says ACCES DENIED .. Fine
as you Wish Roiight mouse key JUMP (that start code i created that is part fo FAR more complicated software It wil track WHERE does it go al the way to the end and Force open the explorer .. Because the code originally came from a file management system, I do not Need to use the Explorer I simply prefere to do so Then again i pretty much never use the start anyways ... As yo are on the Link ? More... "open file location" you shold be ON the acxtually Link On the system where Ever it is

the "Audacity" you see ? Is a softlink Riight click open file location (are you kiding ? nope)

Here is the fun part , you cannot create a batchfile and add
Del C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Audacity
to it .. Put ALL of thel in a batchfiles and run it at ever start upo Why ?. So it kills them no matter how many times they put thel backk there Simply Add them as they pop up

the actual code is comlplicated and really really large

i dont actually care , but if i diid ?
i would simply create a UTF8 txt file ADD the one i want GONE to it
andf hook it into the program that has any nulbner of routiines and deleting files is juts one of them

The code wil figure out WHY? Reset the ACL and kill the darn Thing

You start that with the sheduler ? There's no point to remove the tool..
