Trump tweets ‘Build the Wall’ video as shutdown continues

With the government shutdown nearing the end of week two and no signs of a deal in sight, President Trump on Thursday tweeted another short video clip in support of his long-promised border wall.

The 23-second clip — the second the commander in chief has tweeted about what he calls the crisis at the southern border — shows rock-throwing immigrants shouting in Spanish and general mayhem along the border.

The clip also shows Sen. Chuck Schumer declaring that illegal immigration was “wrong, plain and simple,” and then cuts to a shot of Trump promising that: “We will build the wall.”

The clip ends with the words “Build the Wall” on screen as ominous music swells.
