Melania Trump married Donald for a ’father figure’ and has ‘sex kitten’ role to play

Melania Trump, 48, has been the subject of another book speculating on her marriage with Donald Trump.

Golden Handcuffs: The Secret History of Trump’s Women was released last Tuesday, written by Nina Burleigh.

The book makes many claims about the First Lady and her marriage and explores the most important women in the President’s life.

The book also makes claims that Melania married Donald for “protection” and because she wanted a “father figure”.

According to People, the book reads: “It’s about all that power and protection. I think she needed a strong man, a father figure.”

Nina is reportedly an old friend of Melania’s, but the White House shut down the claims.

Making more shock claims, Nina says that Melania’s marriage to Donald came with her having to play a certain role.

“The rewards of submission to Donald’s ‘vitality’ and whims were great.

“Ensconced in the gold-plated triplex with servants above, and Tiffany and Gucci down below, and a chauffeured car to move her around Manhattan, plus the summer home in Bedminster and the winter mansion in Palm Beach, Melania soon forgot what it was like to shop at Crate & Barrel — which she had done to fill the Union Square pad,” the author is said to have written.

The book continues: “Of course, there was a small price to pay to keep the wolf of financial mediocrity at bay.

“There was a role to play… Melania would play sex kitten Slovenian.”

The White House released a statement condemning the book and claiming the anonymous sources in the book were not true.

Melania’s spokesperson Stephanie Grisham told People: “As usual, the claims made by anonymous sources in the book are not true.

“I’d also add that the author didn’t bother to reach out to fact check anything that she wrote.”

The author is also reported to claim that the 2016 election changes things for Melania, as she “only wanted red-soled shoes and a rood over her head. And she got this.”

Another book was released earlier this year by former White House aide, Omarosa Manigault Newman.

Her tell-all book Unhinged claimed to reveal intimate and private details from inside the walls of the White House. 

One of the claims made in her book, was that Melania is desperate to leave her husband, “counting every minute until [Trump] is out of office and she can divorce him.”

Omarosa Manigault is a former The Apprentice contestant who worked as a political aide for Donald Trump between January 2017 and January 2018.

Press secretary for the White House Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the book was "riddled with lies and false accusations.”
