Clinton is narcissist and they never accept defeat: Analyst

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is a narcissist and they never accept defeat, says Myles Hoenig, an American political analyst and activist.

Hoenig, a former Green Party candidate for Congress, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Saturday after Clinton accused Facebook of spreading fake news. She said that she will make the online social media and networking service to "own up" to its role in this regard.

Clinton said in an interview with MSNBC on Friday that Facebook had published thousands of political ads over the past two years that were linked to fake accounts based in Russia. She said the fake news played a part in her defeat to Republican candidate Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

“Does a narcissist ever accept defeat? Does a narcissist ever accept responsibilities for their own failings?” Hoenig asked.

“In spite of the informal Goldwater Rule about psychiatrists restricted from commenting on public figures they haven’t examined, they are breaking their silence and Trump’s narcissism is now open season for all professionals and pseudo-professionals,” he said.

‘Two infamous narcissists ran for president in 2016’

“In the last presidential election we didn’t have just one, but two infamous narcissists running for president, one them being the likely winner as our electoral system makes it virtually impossible for 3rd parties to win. Hillary Clinton was the Democratic Party’s choice narcissist for this race,” he explained.

“Waiting for Clinton’s next target for why she lost is almost as fun as waiting for Trump’s next idiotic tweet. Today it’s Facebook. Like so many corporate oligarchs, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, has supported both parties in political races, often to hedge their bets,” he stated.

“Now he has the bull’s-eye on him. Alleging that Facebook allowed the Russians to buy fake ads against her, Clinton claims another victim for her loss to the most despicable politician to hit the electoral streets in a very long time, she being #2. Zuckerberg denies this and says his study showed thousands of pro and anti issues’ ads, not personal ones against her directly,” he noted.

Last week, Facebook announced that it found that 470 inauthentic accounts spent about $100,000 to buy some 3,000 ads during the 2016 US presidential campaign. However, the majority of the ads were largely promoting social issues, like immigration and gun control. They did not target Clinton or Trump.

Hoenig said, “The media giants during the campaign were all behind Clinton. Even today, along with her book and media tour, they are enabling her in her self-delusional narcissism that she ‘accepts’ responsibility for her loss, but it wasn’t her fault.”

“Amazon is helping her by deleting criticism of the book, which is a near-majority of comments, and only posting positive reviews,” the analyst said.

‘Every major media source supports Clinton’

“It’s easy being a narcissist when you have such powerful enablers. To Clinton, the number one cause of her loss was the Russians,” he stated.

“Every major media source supports her claim. Almost never have they ever used the word ‘alleged’ in their reporting of Russian hacking, considering that except for the 3 agencies cherry picked to report on Russia’s involvement, even the intelligence community as a whole admits Russian hacking is only a belief,” he noted.

“From MSNBC to Fox to NPR, the word is that Hillary was robbed of what she so rightly inherited (certainly not earned),” he said.

“Today Facebook, tomorrow who knows? Keep it up Hillary. Many of us are enjoying seeing your party implode by your leadership,” the commentator concluded.
